With a rental car

eFlow (Transport Infrastructure Ireland) says this about rental cars:

Many of the larger car rental companies operate a ‘company pays’ model so you don’t have to worry about paying tolls, however it is important you confirm with the rental company who is responsible for paying the tolls prior to using any tolls roads.

If you are responsible, then you must pay your toll before the 8pm next day deadline, to avoid unnecessary penalties.
