OUIGO France luggage allowance: how many bags, what size and extra bags (2026)
According to OUIGO’s luggage page, checked on 31 October 2026, every OUIGO ticket includes one item of hand luggage up to 40 × 30 × 15 cm and one cabin bag up to 55 × 35 × 25 cm; an extra or oversized bag (up to 90 × 130 × 50 cm and 30 kg) costs €5 online and €20 at the station.

How many bags
Every OUIGO ticket includes one hand luggage item and one cabin bag. If you'd like an extra (or oversized) bag, it will cost you €5 online and €20 at the station.

Extra bags and fees

It's also included in the OUIGO Plus and OUIGO Full packs.
If you don't book your baggage option online before departure, it will be charged at €20 at the station!
On a connecting journey, the extra or oversized baggage option must be added and paid for separately for each train on the route, on top of the train ticket.

Bikes, skis, pushchairs and instruments
Sports equipment (skis, snowboard, skateboard, other boards): they travel under the extra baggage option. They must be stored in a cover and respect the dimensions 90 × 130 × 50 cm; skis are accepted in a cover up to 2 m.
Pushchair: for families, it's free if you're travelling with your child.
Bikes and scooters have their own dedicated option, separate from extra baggage.
