Alhambra: when tickets go on sale, closing days and the official site (2026-27)
According to the official Alhambra website (Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife), checked on 31 October 2026, tickets can be bought online until 23:59 on the day before your visit, but the page does not say how far ahead they go on sale; the Monumental Complex is closed on 25 December and 1 January (next: Friday 25 December 2026).

How tickets go on sale: the official rule
No fixed release day
The purchase of tickets by natural persons may be carried out in advance until 23:59 h the day prior to the visit online, in the network of ATMs enabled for this, and by telephone, with a bank card.
Due to the high demand, it is recommended to acquire tickets in advance through the various channels established for this purpose.

A press release of 8 January 2018 said tickets could be bought between three months and two hours before the visit. The current page does not repeat this and gives a different last moment (23:59 on the day before), so we do not calculate a date.

When do Alhambra tickets go on sale?
The current official page does not say how far ahead tickets go on sale. It says: “The purchase of tickets by natural persons may be carried out in advance until 23:59 h the day prior to the visit online, in the network of ATMs enabled for this, and by telephone, with a bank card.” “Due to the high demand, it is recommended to acquire tickets in advance through the various channels established for this purpose.” An older official press release, from 2018, spoke of three months before the visit; it is not repeated on the current page.
