How we check

Our script downloads the two official PDF tables from indianvisaonline.gov.in, reads every row (serial number, country, fees) and stops if a row is missing, if the column headings or the note on the 3% bank charge change, or if a country name is not recognised; a second, independent reading of the same PDF must give the same countries and the same figures. We quote the official e-Visa pages word for word, in short extracts, with the date we checked them, and we link no visa agencies. More on the About page. This page is information, not legal advice.
